Conveniently located, perfect for RMIT students. Friendly staff aided my transition to Australia, and the co-working spaces were useful, though a bit limited. Comfortable bed with good privacy curtains made for a pleasant stay.

cozy pod-bunk beds, organized space for lockers, privacy curtains
The facilities left much to be desired!!! A serious lack of hooks in the shower area!!! Cleanliness in common areas was nonexistent!!! Also, the bathroom situation is appalling with too few toilets during peak hours!!!

The location is superb, just steps from Flinders Street station.
I struggled with the heating in my room. it was too warm and stuffy for a comfortable night’s sleep, despite the moderate weather. The design of the sleeping pods makes it easy to bang your knees into the oversized lockers, which was quite painful. Additionally, I saw a couple of mice in the kitchen area, which is concerning for cleanliness and hygiene.

absolutely disappointing! the restroom access is a joke, anyone can unlock it, which I found out the hard way, twice. and the kitchen hours? 7:30 am to 11:30 pm is just absurd. I expected a little more from this establishment, maybe a complimentary wine for all the hassle? I almost considered a good review—but just couldn’t.

The lounge area is an absolute gem! I chilled with a cocktail and enjoyed the grilled vegetables from the bar menu—so good! Plus, the staff was genuinely upbeat, making it a fabulous atmosphere to meet fellow travelers.
On the flip side, my dorm was a bit of a maze, narrow and tricky with airflow since there was only one window. The restrooms were decent but just two WC for peak hours isn't ideal. Still, everything else shined bright!

Definitely suitable for solo travelers
The bed was comfy and came with privacy curtains,, allowing me to feel a bit more at home. Also, the pancake breakfast, even if it was just pancakes, was a welcome treat to start the day right,, and the staff was always there to help when I needed something.
It wasn't exactly cheap,, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Great spot for solo travelers
Had a nice stay! The hostel was super clean and modern. It’s right in the heart of Melbourne, so everything's close. The staff was friendly and helpful. Just wish the room had A/C. it got pretty steamy with only a couple fans. The lounge area outside was chill and a good place to unwind.

The location is perfect for exploring, just a stroll from Crown Casino. The 24-hour reception was super helpful. Loved the communal vibe in the kitchen and the cozy beds offered a good night’s sleep. Definitely check out the free activities on offer, too.
One downside was the noisy neighbors. Thankfully, the front desk handled the situation quickly, but it did disturb us at times.
